Angélica Castelló:
geboren 1972 in Mexiko City. Mehrere Diplome, viele Städte, viel Musik....seit 1999 lebt sie in Wien, spielt kontinuierlich neue Musik in verschiedenen Genres, Mischungen und Formationen, organisiert die Konzertreihe "Neue Musik in St. Ruprecht" und unterrichtet.

Urkuma:
is Stefano De Santis, born('72) in the south-east part of Italy.
He began his artistic career as a playwright, and later developed his unique musical approach to translate his theatre concepts into sound. The word Urkuma is specific to the FinisTerrae part of Italy and expresses a state of mind, that is possible to compare with the opposite to the Buddhist concept of nirvana. Urkuma did releases, performances and installations in Italy, Poland, USA, Austria, Swiss, Slovack Rep., Japan and has collaborated with a wide range of musicians.
Live, Urkuma is used to play anything within his reach, including small electronic devices, clarinet, TrumpLoo, home-built instruments and tapes.

Every Kid On Speed

every kid on speed is one of the monikers under which antonio dimitrov appears - sound artist, street artist, dj, designer… based in skopje, macedonia. when at home and not traveling he is doing various projects, but music obveiously being the main focus of his hectic lifestyle. at the moment officially studying philosophy but he has many other projects that keeps him bussy: from running his label acid fake recordings, the sublabel discofake and webzine fakezine, presenting his works and sound as dj and through live acts, organizing various dj and live events/exhibitions and setting up his own installations/design works, hosting radio programs dedicated to new music and radio art, doing design with the design division 'acid fake design'… he also works sound design under name sound_00 but every kid on speed seems more live active moniker with which produces glitch, minimal, cut up electronics. under these names he has released many full lengths, eps and has countless compilation and remix appearances on various labels around the world and has shared the stage with names like pita, andrey kiritchenko, massaccesi, urkuma, ran slavin, solar x, t.rumschmiere, jason forest, the bug, phon.o, modelesector, ellen alien, miss kittin… on festivals like club transmediale, progress festival, absurd festival, ctrl_alt_del sound-art festival, interpretation festival, tiny noise festival, radia lx 2006…

PYo.

Is the solo project of Pierre PULISCIANO based in Marseille (France). His work is mainly centered on research and assembly of sound textures using bands, md, microphones and computer. Sound sources are directly generated by material and/or recorded situations.
His music is a sensitive exploration into electro-acoustic and microscopic sounds ; using phenomena suitable for technology to produce an abstract music exploiting various characters of analogical/numerical universe, PYo. gives us to listen to tensions and relaxations of sound masses in an electrified artificial atmosphere.
He also takes part and proposes various artistic projects with other artists in the field of the music, performance and multi-media with various collective and within the framework of festivals.

abteilung: schwer, hart & langsam. doom. metal. im weitesten sinn.
live war das trio - bestehend aus alex wallner (das fax mattinger), jon norman (radian) und dd kern (pest, bulbul, fuckhead,...) - erst 4 mal zu sehen, letztes jahr, mit den flying luttenbachers in ö unterwegs und sie machen sich im allgemeinen eigentlich ein bisschen zu rar, was wohl auch daher kommt das alle 3 hyperaktiv und ständig mit projekten/bands/kollaborationen jeglicher art beschäftigt sind.
wird auf jeden fall heavy.


Jon Eriksen

Jon Eriksen is a visual artist and noise musician. Eriksen has since 1999 been playing improvised sets at venues and galleries in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany and the USA. Eriksens live sets are harsh, physical, and very direct, while his recorded output carries a stronger sense of form and are executed with a lot of attention to detail. His music has been released on several compilations and labels in Norway, Sweden, Holland, and Germany. Eriksen's latest release is a split cd with Sten Ove Toft and Utarm on Norwegian Roggbif Records. He is currently working on a full length album.
Eriksen lives and works in Malmö, Sweden.

farmersmanual- Mitglied v93r und Nachtstrom machen seit den 1990er- Jahren elektronische Musik, und da sie im wirklichen Leben Brüder sind, haben sie vor kurzem beschlossen, diese Blutsverwandtschaft musikalisch zu zementieren: Mit einem demnächst erscheinenden Release auf chmafu nocords namens *ORGANICUM*, und einem gemeinsamen Auftritt beim Grazer *Interpenetration Festival 06*. Stilistisch bewegt sich die Musik der Brüder zwischen unsynchronisierten Beats und avantgardisitscher Ambience, verstörende Audiosamples inklusive.

Nicht umsonst handelt es sich bei See You Soon Records um eine Kooperation mit Superlinear/Mille Plateaux: DAWID SZCZESNY ediert auf »Unheard Treats« ätherische und doch gebrochen-fragil anmutende Sounds. Eingangs etwa überlagern simpel mäandernde dekonstruiert-verzerrtr Keyboardmelodien, um die herum leichte Knarzgeräusche und ein Sirren schweben. Irgendwie stellt sich Szczesny als moderner Satie heraus, der pianistische Melodiefragmente zart zerhäckselt. Die zurzeit wunderschönste Musik des Planeten atmet, duftet, schafft traumverloren Atmosphäre. In the mood for relaxing at a highest level! Und nach einem Besuch in Wroclaw/Breslau, wo Szczesny lebt, hab ich noch die »Snow Beetroot/stapes I–III«-EP (www.1pt8.com) aus 2005 erhalten: Die Mini-CD entfaltet über 21 Minuten wiederum chilliges Flirren und auf dem Opener macht eine von Dawid Bargenda gespielte Akustikgitarre auf Schwermut. Seb...'s music fights the exactness of the moment.....sounds that feel like they are coming alive just as they leave the speaker...with a back-brain yearning emotion of nostalgia. The listener feels a heightened awareness, with the sounds covering the whole spectrum of time in one's brain, always keeping you wide awake and in the moment, but at the same time toying with your memories, bringing up emotional histories to overlay onto the precise instant in time of which you are listening to the song.
SEB...'s songs are a dichotomy of instantaneousness nowness and daydreaming playbacks of past emotional memories. His songs are like bizarre microscopically intricate clockwork animals that carry your memories in them. "staplerfahrer is a Dutch sound artist playing around with crunched and broken sounds, circuit bended gadgetry and electro-magnetic waves. Some 10+ years ago, he became interested in "musical noises" while circuitbending his own audio equipment. The surprises he encountered by doing so, was his introduction into the world of bleep, click and crackle. From then on, his fascination for electronic sounds grew stronger, as did the need to process these sounds and apply them into a musical format."
